    Job Description:

    The Operations Coordinator supports the Training, Standards, and Safety team in their efforts to improve the quality of training delivered to the cadets as well as working to meet the operational and financial needs of the business. Assists Training and Standards management with maintaining regulatory compliance of instructor and student records and requirements.

    Essential Functions:

    • Work closely with Academy leadership to ensure all objectives are accomplished and deadlines are met on assigned projects

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, instructors, and other visitors to the Training and Standards Department and assist with any needs required within the department

    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner

    • Support Managers with reporting, data minining, and data entry to ensure data integrity

    • Assist Training (FAA/UK) and Standards departments with gathering, tracking, and reporting data through Excel and flight scheduling software

    • Coordinate interviews;hiring, training classes, authrotization applications, and document maintenance for flight instructors

    • Assist with manage training trends, reporting (tracking and preparing unsatisfactory, incomplete, instructor perfomrance; pass rates, etc.)

    • Conduct audits on student training records to insure regulatory requirements are met

    • Ensures compliance with course applicable company policies and procedures, laws, and regulations

    • Assist other departments as needed

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree is preferred.

    • 4-6 years in customer service, business administration or similar field.

    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively.

    • Efficiently and effectively utilize a computer and related software including Microsoft Suite, building spreadsheets (formulas, pivot tables, formatting).

    • Ability to handle multi-tasking, organization, and efficient work to accomplish daily/weekly/monthly objectives of the position and operations department.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

    • Able to work well in a team environment and possess a positive attitude.
