    Support commercial mortgage funding and business operations associated with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

    • Support Loan Funding Process by working with Closing Team to obtain appropriate documentation and support for Loan Fundings. Operations Associate is responsible for: ensuring adequate funds are in the Corporate Account to fund the loan; reviewing the third party deposits and fees due to Grandbridge on Settlement Statement match pipeline; performing wire callback and verification, and storing the wire for review and release. Operations Associate is also responsible for reviewing Loan Funding packets prepared by peers or Operations Analyst(s).

    • Support Loan Settlement Process by validating funds to be received agree to outstanding warehouse balance and pipeline fees due. Submit and/or approve wire disbursement to correct cash accounts once funds have been received.

    • Monitor and identify incoming funds for the Corporate Escrow and Cash Accounts and ensure pipeline is updated accordingly.

    • Process and/or review third party disbursements (via check or wire) to ensure funds are available and appropriate documentation has been provided. Update pipeline accordingly.

    • Input and/or review new and/or updated information in the Vendor Database.

    • Monitor Ticket Database and assign tickets to teammates. In addition, process Treasury Tickets to assist associates with variety of items, such as accounts payable, credit cards, audit requests, equipment, etc.

    • Prepare reconciliation between fee pipeline and general ledger to ensure all monthly transactions have been appropriately recorded.

    • Review and maintain updates to Production Office Licenses. Prepare and submit filings annually.

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent education and related training.

    • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently to meet deadlines; and proven ability to work successfully in a team environment.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in basic to intermediate computer applications, such as Microsoft Office products.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Financial services or mortgage banking experience
