The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and UVA Health Children's seek candidates for a faculty position on a clinician or clinician-scientist track at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank to join our growing program. The appointee will join an outstanding group of clinicians, clinician-scientists and staff dedicated to the wellness of children and with deep expertise in caring for those with cancer and blood disorders, including hematologic malignancies, sarcomas and embryonal tumors, central nervous system malignancies, non-malignant disorders of an hematopoietic/immune/inflammatory nature, and similarly providing cutting edge cellular and immune therapies. You would join the highly collaborative environment of the University of Virginia, UVA Health and the number 1 ranked children's hospital in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, clinical excellence, curiosity, and interpersonal skills characterized by collegiality, humility and a service-oriented mindset. Equally important, they will share our institutional values of accountability, stewardship, professionalism, integrity, respect and equity.

UVA Health Cancer Center was recently granted comprehensive status by the National Cancer Institute, and a diverse group of research-oriented schools and centers across grounds provide a rich platform for shared discovery.
