Onshore GW and AWS Tech Lead

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive application management services, including maintenance, support, and small change management.

• Collaborate closely with the client to understand their business needs and ensure the stability and reliability of their IT systems.

• Proactively monitor and resolve issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.

• Implement minor enhancements and adjustments to improve system functionality and user experience.

• Support the legacy operations of State Auto Insurance, ensuring seamless integration and continuity of services.

• Maintain and enhance the Guidewire ecosystem, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter, as well as associated portals.

• Support upstream systems, including Duck Creek, and manage downstream data lakes to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Work closely with the client and business to ensure their requirements are met.

• Troubleshoot production issues, reproduce them in lower environments, and help with permanent solutions.

• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.

• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ Years Experience in application management and support.

• Proven experience in small change management and implementing system enhancements

• Strong technical background with expertise in the Guidewire suite.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

• Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
