Office Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Office Manager to handle various office management tasks, including customer service, HR functions, payroll coordination, and managing inbound and outbound calls. The ideal candidate will also support accounting with billing when needed.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with Paychex for HR and payroll tasks.
Handle inbound and outbound calls, mostly from service workers to confirm information.
Support accounting with billing tasks as required.
Coordinate hours and ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements.
Essential Skills
Experience as an office manager.
Knowledge of prevailing wage requirements.
Proficiency in customer service.
Experience in HR and payroll management.
Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the construction industry.
Ability to coordinate effectively with external partners like Paychex.
Work Environment
The role operates in a typical office environment, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM. This position offers the opportunity to transition to a permanent role after 9 months.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Syracuse,NY.
