Office Administrative Assistant
The Office Administrative Assistant works for the organization to oversee routine and advanced duties. They work closely with Administrators and other employees to organize files, create correspondence and prepare reports or documents. They are also responsible for completing a range of clerical tasks including but not limited to calendar management, sorting mail, and preparing invoices. They may also be responsible for engaging in event planning and meeting setup and implementation.

American Lighting and Signalization (ALS) provides street lighting and traffic signalization construction, maintenance, and emergency response services in the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic United States. Our major customers include state departments of transportation (DOTs), investor-owned and municipal utilities, commercial retail land developments, and commercial road contractors.
Job Type : Full-Time +, Non-Exempt
Pay : 17.00 - $20 per hour/Based on Experience

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Purchase Orders
Billings
Expense Reports
Answering Phones
Corresponding with Owner Representatives, Subcontractors & Government Agencies
Record-Keeping / Filing
General Office Duties
Accepting Deliveries and Mail Sorting
Assisting project manager with project-specific tasks
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Spectrum.
Background in SmartSheet is a plus.
1 to 2 years of industry-related experience preferred.
Must be able to write, read and comprehend written and verbal job instructions/information.
Must be able to communicate with others.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2 years' experience in Industry preferred, but not required.
