    In addition to managing primary nephrology clinical issues, the Pediatric Nephrology team takes a multi-disciplinary approach to the management of health conditions such as childhood Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and vesicoureteral reflux. Pediatric Specialists in pediatric rheumatology and pediatric urology, respectively, along with pediatric nephrology work to care for these children to reduce the risk of potential kidney damage.

    As the Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate and life-changing care to pediatric patients and their families. You will be responsible for the direct care and treatment of ambulatory and hospitalized patients; leading and performing patient evaluations, treatments and specialized technical procedures; serving as a clinical resource to staff and physicians; and facilitating the health education of family members, referrals to other disciplines and consultation with other allied health personnel.     Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse license. Current Hawai'i Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years recent nursing experience in specialty area.

    Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year advanced practical experience.

Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.
