    The Emory Healthcare OB/GYN Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship Program is a one-year, post-graduate training program that prepares Fellows to become highly skilled in the multidisciplinary, collaborative, and evidence-based management of complex and challenging patients in Women's Health.

    Description

    Fellowship Program Description:

    • The Emory Healthcare OB/GYN Fellowship is a one-year post-graduate program that prepares new Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to become highly skilled in the multidisciplinary, collaborative, and evidence-based management of complex and challenging OB/GYN and Women's Health patients.

    • The Fellowship's curriculum covers a wide spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology, including outpatient obstetrics and gynecology, maternal fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology and infertility and urogynecology, and inpatient Labor and Delivery and L&D Triage.

    • The clinical rotations will provide Fellows with most aspects of Women's Health and OB/GYN.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Completion of an accredited PA or NP master's program prior to the start of the Fellowship program.

    • National board certification as an NP or PA.

    • Eligible for licensure as a PA or NP in Georgia.

    • Eligible for DEA license

    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.

Include future career plans and how they might be enhanced by additional training in the fellowship. The statement of intent is NOT a cover letter, and is an important document, which is included in the consideration of your application.

    • Curriculum Vitae: educational background, professional experience, volunteer experience and other relevant information.

    • Three Letters of Recommendation: 2 from Professors or Program Director, 1 from a Professional Peer.

    • Transcripts

    Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
