  • The Network Security Engineer will serve as a main contact for medium to high complexity technology issues and all cyber security needs. Position will support the company by installing, configuring, and maintaining Heeter's Network infrastructure in compliance with its predetermined security frameworks. This position will be responsible for maintaining the organization's Cyber Security Frameworks and managing annual or bi-annual audits.

    Please note this position is in person at our facility in Eastlake, OH with occasional travel needs to our Pittsburgh based locations (15-20%). Hybrid work environment.

    Essential Functions:

    • Maintain computer networks including mainframes, VPNs, Routers, Wireless Access Points, Network Switches, and other physical hardware.
    • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, making repairs and performing scheduled updates.
    • Maintain and configure firewalls as needed.
    • Provide technical support for clients and end-users through various lines of communication, including phones and maintaining helpdesk email.
    • Securing the computer network against cyber-attacks, which includes installing antivirus software and ensuring regular updates.
    • Work with management to facilitate network resource downtime and maintenance during system upgrades.
    • Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate networking issues to other employees and management.

    • Implement and update disaster recovery procedures.
    • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices and implement them company wide.
    • Maintain and manage security audits for all locations with help from the IT department: HITRUST & SOCII

    Position requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science\Information Systems\Information Systems Management\information Security or related degree OR Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP.
    • 5+ years' experience working in networking and Information Systems with specific experience in:

    o VSphere

    o Switching

    o Operational IT

    o Linux (Ubuntu and Kali)

    o Microsoft Server

    o Mac OS

    o Key Management

    o Identity Access Management

    o Incident Response Framework

    o Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

    o Vulnerability Remediation

    · Experience with SQL mandatory
