Targeted Years of Experience: 5-7 years
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
Minimum 5 years work experience in project management, vendor management, or related fields
Minimum 5 years experience demonstrating ability to take initiative and manage multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
Minimum 5 years of experience demonstrating proficient use of computers, including experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office software, as well as experience with relational and web-based database applications.
Minimum 3 years work experience effectively managing and orchestrating the efforts of geographically distributed teams.
Minimum 3 years work experience in the communications industry.
Knowledge of transport networks at layers 1, 2, and 3; ROADM and Metro Ethernet knowledge a plus.
Experience implementing mission critical infrastructure projects.
Experience with Slack, Tableau or Salesforce applications.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
4 year degree or equivalent work experience
Even better with a PMP certification or knowledge of Project Management standards
These projects take place within the Mountain Plains submarket, primarily in the states of KS and MO.
Although preferred, this home-based candidate does not have to reside within the submarket.

Analyzes architecture, relationship between systems, and systems flow of end-to-end designs.
Interfaces with internal and external Engineering, Operations and Network Planning organizations to serve and support proper designs needed to simplify and modernize the legacy network.
Tracks status of Engineering and Operations initiatives to ensure progress is being made to achieve network deployment and upgrade project objectives across multiple geographical markets.
Manages database information to provide project updates, analyzing data for accuracy and completeness.
Provides forecasted timelines as projects progress and accurately tracks project completion.
Shares weekly/monthly project progress with leaders and other stakeholders using dashboards and reports.
Hosts and facilitates multiple project team meetings on a recurring basis.
Ensures compliance with all client Wireless standards and practices.
Effectively manages vendors, internal teams, and resources.
Works with a team to make sure projects progress with a sense of urgency.
Communicates and manages project risks and issues.
Operates as a team leader and strategic influencer.
Communicates effectively at all levels.
