    Technical Writer III

Our work depends on Technical Writer III joining our team to manage Ship Change Process in the Navy Data Environment (NDE) by making strategic, tactical, and operational upgrades. Create, maintain, and process ship change documents utilizing the Navy Data Environment. Create and process data packages through the Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS) Configuration Control Board (CCB) process. Engage with Technical Warrant Holders as part of the technical evaluation team that reviews Ship Change Documents and adjudicates comments and corrections. Engage with the ICS CCB members and their support personnel to adjudicate board members comments and corrections. Update Afloat Master Planning System (AMPS) in NDE to reflect all hulls that have had availability dates reassigned.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

    ? Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering discipline

    ? Required Experience:

    • Six (6) years of demonstrated experience in system engineering support.

    • Six (6) years of demonstrated experience managing ship change process in NDE.

    • Four (4) years of demonstrated experience supporting the IWS CCB process.

    ? Security Clearance Level: SECRET

    The likely hourly rate for this position is between $28.70 - $38.82. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
