    North America Supply Chain Manager - Decatur, IL, Des Moines, IA, Quincy, IL

    The Supply Chain Manager is a strategic position for the company. The role will manage the capacity of our company, to ensure supply to meet the forecasted demand. Starting from the forecasted unconstrained demand of the market, this manager leads, defines, and implements the best supply strategies, best tactical plans, and best supply execution processes to maximize our response to the demand. This role will lead the supply part of our S&OP and coordinate good execution of the plan.

    This role will build & lead the following policies: Production allocation and planning, FG inventory management, RM planning (replenishment) and RM inventory policies, storage needs, distribution, and transport plans. Additionally, they will coordinate the global supply with procurement/purchasing and finance. This role is expected to work and coordinate with all functional departments to achieve results for the division.

    Scope:

    • Responsible for end to end supply chain activities/processes for N. America Food Additives and Ingredients plant locations and associated warehousing and tollers

    • Responsible for end to end supply chain activities/processes for N. America Premix plant locations and associated warehousing and tollers

    • Scope may change to accommodate business needs as certain situations dictate, but continuous improvement activities done by this role should lessen the supply chain related workload over time.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the S&OP process for given division

    • Travel as needed to support supply chain initiatives at each site with 10-20% expected travel as business needs dictate.

    • Develop and implement supply chain standard work and processes that each site will own and deliver on monthly.

    • Lead supply execution (RM planning, Manufacturing plan, Logistics)

    • Including % OTIF, %RM availability, % adherence to Supply Plan, Supply cost vs planned, Inventory DOH

    • Upgrade and optimize organization, skills, processes, and tools of supply (including best use of IT functions: MRP, ERP, and APS implementation)

    • Supply part of our 5Y supply plan through optimized data while ensuring scalability.

    • Direct management of the supply team (Manufacturing planners, RM planners)

    • Coordination with all manufacturing functions, logistics functions, and purchasing functions.

    • Propose any improvement in organization and process to improve our supply efficiency

    • Participate in improvement of all SC policies and best adaptation to Petfood USA business

    • Manage finished goods and raw material inventory levels that support company KPIs at the most efficient levels while still providing target customer service levels relative to OTIF

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain

    • 5 years of experience within the industry including minimum 3 years in Supply chain

    • Training: APICS / CSCP certification a plus

    • Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Strong influencing and relationship-building skills.

    • Proactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative and critical thinking. Proven ability to think strategically, but with exceptional attention to detail in execution.

    • Positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to prioritize numerous projects simultaneously.
