$7000 Sign-on Bonus

MRI/CT Imaging Technologist Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI/CT procedures that ensure an accurate and complete examination within the standards of diagnostic medical imaging.
• Apply principles of magnetic resonance safety to minimize risk to patient, self, and others.
• Select appropriate pulse sequences to establish protocols influencing data acquisition parameters.
• Post-process data for interpretation per protocol.
• Evaluate quality control tests before MR imaging is performed.
• Perform diagnostic CT procedures utilizing a pressure injector and administering contrast under supervision.
• Follows all radiation dose monitoring guidelines.
• Perform venipuncture for injections.
• Process images and reviews for proper identification and quality control.
• Maintain CEUs for all certifications.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Certified by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) in Radiography
• Certified by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) in Computed Tomography (prior CT experience with proficiency acceptable)
• Certified by the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technology) or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (prior MRI experience with proficiency acceptable)
• Active Kansas State License
• BLS through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers
