Trane Technologies is seeking a talented and creative Motion Designer to join our rapidly growing team of creatives. As a Motion Designer, you will report to the Senior Video Producer and work on digital products for Trane Commercial/Residential HVAC, Thermo King, American Standard Heating and Air, RunTru by Trane, and Ameristar by American Standard. You will be part of a tight-knit team of designers, developers, and content creators, and you will work closely with a variety of stakeholders including the marketing team, product managers, customer experience, and software engineering.

Where is the work:

  Hybrid: (updated 6/21/2024)  

This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week. 

**What you will do:  **  

? Design and animate in both 2D and 3D environments for a variety of projects, including videos, digital interfaces, and promotional content

? Animate 3D models including exploded views

? Collaborate closely with the 3D Designer and Senior Video Producer to ensure cohesive and high-quality deliverables

? Bring motion to UX/UI designs, enhancing user interactions and overall experience

? Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to project development

? Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in motion design

What you will bring:  

? Proven experience as a Motion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing both 2D and 3D animation work

? Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent tools

? Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and composition

? Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take creative direction

? Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

? Excellent communication and collaboration skills

? Ability to effectively manage relationships and interactions with high-level stakeholders

Would me nice if you had:

? Experience with UX/UI design and animation

? Knowledge and experience with interactive animating tools such as Rive or Spline

Compensation: **  **  

Base Pay Range: $75,000-95,000
