Job Description:

Ready to advance your education and work on large-scale engineering projects? Parsons is seeking Engineering Interns who are versatile, flexible, able to work in team-oriented environments, and have exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

The Parsons Universal Modeling & Analysis (PUMA) Lab is looking for a Modeling & Simulation intern for the Summer 2025 cohort. The intern will work in an agile environment with the PUMA team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Become a specialist with our Parsons Digital Engineering Framework (PDEF), and the modeling & simulation tools within PDEF

• Model and simulate various scenarios with Cameo Systems Modeler and multiple simulation applications (MATLAB, AFSIM, STK, EADSIM, etc.)

• Contribute to the Data Mesh and Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) efforts

• Work in a cloud and on-premises environment depending on the project effort

• Work in an agile team environment

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in an engineering field

• Project experience in modeling (i.e., Cameo) and or simulation (i.e., AFSIM)

• Knowledge of Digital Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Technology-related Certifications are a Plus!

• Experience with multiple modeling & simulation tools is a plus (MATLAB, ModelCenter, Cameo Systems Modeler, STK and others)

Salary Range

$21.44 - $37.55
