The Opportunity:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed Mission Assurance & Staff Action Officer supporting the Depart of Defense Chief Information Office National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) office. Supporting the NLCC Contract at the Department of Defense located at the Pentagon, Washington DC.
Responsibilities:
You will become a key member of the Pentagon's National Leadership Command Capabilities (NLCC) Management Office (NMO) assisting in establishing, tracking, and supporting the NLCC's ongoing Mission assurance program.
Support the NLCC Councils' directive of assessing key DOD locations which involves coordination across the Joint Staff, COCOM's, Services, and DTRA. principal staff assistant (PSA) for PNT policy, oversight, and guidance on PNT enterprise-wide architecture and requirements.
Work to ensure new and existing DTRA and Cyber teams have the oversight and support from the DOD CIO to increase the effectiveness of the teams.
Coordinate and schedule Secure VTC's and ad hoc meetings to ensure senior leaders are aware of results and to provide any deconfliction or Pentagon level support as needed.
Attend high-level DoD, meetings providing professional judgment and NLCC expertise on behalf of the government customer. Serving as the CIO's representative with particular focus on the Mission Assurance responsibilities.
Use your strong writing skills to Prepare CIO issue papers for inclusion in the annual Presidents Budget/Program Objective Memorandum cycles to acquire program funding, draft senior-level correspondence, and quality control CATMS package responses
Qualifications:
Required:
Active TS/SCI required.
Master's degree (MA/MS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical discipline and a minimum of 15 years of total experience in a relevant field, showcasing exceptional expertise.
Self-motivated hard charger that is comfortable with rapidly evolving changes in a highly visible dynamic environment.
Strong writing skills able to provide final executive level briefing slides, correspondence and package reviews.
Knowledge of DOD (services, components, COCOMs, etc.) and the various players that are stakeholders in the Senior leader communications mission domains.
Technical expertise and skills with office products (word, excel, teams etc)
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to serve as a customer-facing expert.
Desired:
Experience with DTRA Mission assurance teams
Strong working knowledge of pentagon processes and offices
Recognized subject matter expert
Limited oversight from manager
Problems faced are difficult and often complex
