Position Summary

Kiewit is looking for Journeyperson Millwrights for the Elk Valley Resources Project located in Elkford, BC .

Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson ticket.

• Valid Fall Arrest ticket an asset.

• Valid Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) ticket an asset.

• 5 years Industrial experience.

• Experience with rigging, pumps/compressors, and static/rotating equipment.

• Experience with assembly, installation, and alignment of equipment.

Shift Information

• Current schedule is a 14/7 dayshift rotation.

• Minimum 10 hours per day with over time after 6.5 hours daily.

• Must be willing to work additional overtime and weekends when required.

Additional Information

Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug and Alcohol test, a 50 lb Fitness to Work test and a Half Mask Fit.

Project Information

Line Creek Operations is located approximately 12 kilometers from the community of Elkford, in southeastern British Columbia. It is one of our four steelmaking coal operations in the Elk Valley operating since 2015.
