    Technical Writing Description.

    The contractor shall coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and sources to ensure that each publication captures and expresses important trends, relationships and significant facts; and coordinate with proponents of all required references to ensure that the most current information is considered and to avoid inconsistencies. The contractor shall:

    a. Perform extensive preliminary research into assigned projects.

    b. Synchronize intelligence doctrinal publication with Army regulations and directives; Executive Orders; proponent i.e. USAICoE for Military Intelligence (MI), non-proponents or other branches of the Army, and Joint doctrine; and present all key issues to the Government.

    c. Resolve apparent discrepancies to produce a developed document that is uniform in nature and meets performance metrics, and represent timely, accurate, and relevant information while minimizing duplication.

    d. Synchronize intelligence publication and products with MI, Army, and Joint doctrine through conducting initial peer review and incorporating and/or resolving all comments before submitting the publication to the Government for Army-wide staffing.

    e. Submit all critical comments to the Government for resolution and all drafts through the Government Point of Contact (POC).

    f. Evaluate and incorporate comments resulting from staffing and coordination, which includes resolving any disputes related to those comments.

    g. Brief the Government on progress of the publication and reasons for including or not including comments.

    h. Comply with all requirements including forms and data collection; verify and categorize references for the consolidated list of references; and obtain proper release of copyrighted material used and identify the material in the text.

    i. Collaborate with editing and graphics personnel through all stages of the doctrine development process to emphasize maximum effective use of graphics and clarity of the doctrinal content

    The Contractor shall complete DOT approved (TCs) along with collaboration on the electronic range scenario built in IEWTPT. The format will be delivered in a government-specified format for Government approval. Contractor shall keep products updated, current and relevant to the training mission.

    Basic Qualifications for MITS - Technical Writer - Training Developer-Senior

    a. TS/SCI Clearance

    b. 6 years of current and relevant experience writing and developing technical documents IAW USAICoE, Army, and DoD writing standards.

    c. Experience with writing and developing technical documents utilizing the preferred Army writing style in the active voice and according to governing regulations.

    d. Ability to gather, consolidate, and integrate numerous technical and administrative inputs from staff, professional, and technical personnel.

    e. Able to travel both CONUS and O-CONUS
