As a Mid-Level Landscape Architect based in Los Angeles, California office, you'll have the opportunity to work on local projects as well as projects throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Jacobs landscape architects do a wide variety of work. You'll have the opportunity to grow your technical and leadership skills while leading landscape tasks or projects for a variety of infrastructure projects. • Demonstrated 5-10 years' experience as a landscape architect supporting infrastructure projects for private entities, state and local government agencies

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture

• Professional Landscape Architecture license in California

• Experience developing contract document packages, drawing standards and creation of drawing sets for medium to large size projects

• Experience supporting contract administration phases of work, including shop drawing reviews, and job site observation of project installation for conformance

• Research local codes and submittal requirements, ability to collect, organize, interpret, and present data to team members and clients

• Proficient in communicating designs quickly and effectively through a balance of hand sketches, computer generated graphics, and presentation renderings

• Excellent communication skills to engage in technical discussions with others

• Adept at collaborative teamwork while also excelling as a self-motivated individual

• Experience in or an eagerness to learn the use of biomimicry in design solutions

• Software capabilities: CAD (AutoCAD/Civil 3D)

Ideally You'll Also Have:

• US Citizenship

• Additional software capabilities: GIS (ESRI v 9/10), Land F/X MicroStation, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Mural, and MS Office (including Power Point, Excel), Bluebeam, Experience with BIM (Revit), Lumion/Twinmotion, all a plus
