  • Your Impact

    The primary purpose of the role is to create and manage the pricing strategy for Lowe's U.S Services with the development of cost structures for labor and retail pricing guidance. This includes responsibility for supporting internal and field based teams on all Services Labor costs creation and management of complex pricing models across the company. This role must have knowledge around pricing dynamics, financial analysis and modeling, home improvement, consumer analytics and competitive intelligence.

    What you will do

    • Oversees pricing methodology accuracy and effectiveness and works cross-functionally with business areas such as Merchandising, Finance, Customer Analytics, and Pricing & Promotions to increase efficiency and overall effectiveness

    • Conducts analysis of labor availability, complexity of the work, competitive landscape, and potential profitability to provide quantifiable outputs (i.e. labor rate based on category and geography) and determine possible solutions to complex problems

    • Fosters innovation by using creativity and imagination to bring breakthrough ideas to fruition and add value to the core of the business

    • Employs knowledge and fundamentals of the business to adjust existing pricing practices and procedures in order to create a better position in the market

    • Manages, organizes, and prioritizes processes and work streams to ensure efficient work flow within teams, capitalizing on integration and collaboration with others to reduce inefficiencies

    • Drives results by consistency by meeting deadlines and completing projects that work to optimize costs and retail prices across diverse home improvement trades, labor categories, and geographic regions throughout the United States

    • Develops methodologies to retrieve competitive intel and incorporate findings into pricing methodologies in order to maintain service provider pool

    • Identifies pricing attributes that can contribute to the pricing strategy as Lowe's moves into the Omni-channel space

    • Creates tactical plans aligned with the Services Category and Field Service Management, Outside Sales, and Repair Services to collaborate on ideas for execution and strategic alignment

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, or related field and 8 years' experience in home improvement retail with specific knowledge of pricing dynamic

    • 5 years' experience working in a professional environment

    • 3 years' experience in a financial or quantitative analysis positioning

    • Experience managing project teams and working cross-functionally

    • Experience in negotiation and relationship building

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's Degree MBA in Accounting, Finance or related field

    • Experience in retail specifically in home improvement, installation services, category management, or contracting
