    Job Description

    Seeking a skilled Contract Manager to lead the full life cycle of government contracting, ensuring compliance, risk management, and strategic business execution. The position will support company-wide initiatives, and drive contract performance across government programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    -Contract Management: Lead the negotiation, execution, and administration of complex government contracts and modifications.

    -Compliance and risk management: Ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR, government regulation, internal policies. Prepare regular status reports, ensure readiness for audits, and manage contract documentation and record-keeping.

    -Business Solutions: Apply expertise from relevant fields to improve contract processes, identify cost savings opportunities, and enhance program execution.

    -Proposal Development: Collaborate with other functional areas of the business to develop compliant, competitive proposals. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    -Stakeholder Collaboration: Advises management of contractual rights and obligations. Manage disputes, with functional areas when necessary.

    Basic Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (or the equivalent in education, training and experience), plus a minimum of 8 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience; Master's degree and 6 years relevant experience.
