As the Metal Shop Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our metal fabrication shop. You will oversee all aspects of production, from scheduling and planning to quality assurance and team management, as well as inventory and shipping/receiving. Your role will be pivotal in driving operational excellence and meeting production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the metal fabrication shop, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource allocation.

• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met while maintaining high levels of quality and cost-efficiency.

• Implement and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

• Supervise and mentor a team of production staff, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback.

• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues and optimize processes.

• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Preform inventory cycle counts

• Manage shipping & receiving
