BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Northside Behavioral Health !

Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details:

• Facility: Northside Behavioral Health

• Location: Tampa, FL

• Status: Full time, Hourly

• Shift Hour Options: 7:00 AM- 3:30 pm, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM, and or 11:00 PM-7:30 AM

• Weekend Work: Every Other

• On Call: No

Responsibilities:

• Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

• Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

• Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

• Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• High School or Equivalent

• FL Driver's License

• Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology

• Preferred - CNA/PCT

Preferred Experience:

• 6 months - Psychology based experience
