    To issue membership cards to eligible members and tenants granting use of Recreation Centers of Sun City West (RCSCW)facilities. Maintains accurate property and membership files and performs a wide variety of technical tasks relative.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(This list is not intended to detail all aspects of the assigned work but is representative of the job's overall responsibilities.)
    • Impeccable internal and external customer service and social perceptiveness to include the ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness and pivot service as needed using modeling of appropriate customer interaction ensuring prompt service.
    • Communicates in a warm and helpful manner.
    • Superior capabilities to handle complaints and support conflict resolutions.
    • Manages large volume of customer inquiries via both telephones and onsite visits.
    • Respond to public and member inquiries in a courteous manner providing information within the area of assignment and able to resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
    • Collect, and process financial transactions related to RCSCW membership renewals, golf cards and all other cards and services.
    • Significant cash transactions requiring the ability to handle paper and coin monies and count back change. Reconciliation of daily cash drawer prepare and process funds for deposit.
    • Issue membership and golf cards within current policies and procedures.
    • Maintain new member and tenant files performing data entry on new home purchases; updating member information; documenting sale of properties from one owner to another, process membership refunds related to resold homes, member deaths or removal of member from properties and manage annual dues payments.
    • Process daily mail; distribute as appropriate.
    • Conduct billing procedures; process and mail billing and golf reminder cards.
    • Works with membership leadership to help provide coaching, mentoring, and onboarding of new employees.
    • Identifies and contributes suggestions and innovative ideas to improve department efficiencies and services through creative approaches and outside the box solutions.
    • Regular on-site attendance in compliance with attendance policy is expected.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Specialist II will receive operational direction from Member Services Lead but will report to the Member Services Supervisor.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Sufficient Training and education to demonstrate possession of required knowledge, skills and qualifications are required.

    • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
      • Associate Degree in business or accounting highly preferred
    • Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams required.
      • Advanced knowledge utilizing Excel is required
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English
    • Ability to utilize software programs to produce routine reports and respond to agency and member inquiries.
    PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

    Work is conducted in a dynamic, fast-paced office setting with moderate level noise. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    The following are representative illustrations of requirements-sitting or standing for extended periods of time primarily in an office setting but at times in offsite locations to and from their assigned work area. On occasion, the individual may be required to lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

    Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects and tools to include computers and office equipment. Vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
