    Your Role as a Member Services I

    As a Member Services I at Navigant Credit Union, you'll be on the front lines helping our members with their financial needs and ensuring they have a positive and personalized experience. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Delivering Outstanding Service: Provide accurate and timely assistance to members in person, over the phone, and online. Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, account transfers, and address changes with care and attention to detail.
    • Cross-Selling Products: Assist members in opening new accounts (checking, savings, certificates, IRAs) and recommend products and services that meet their financial needs.
    • Loan Processing & Member Support: Help members complete loan applications, collect necessary documentation, and provide updates on loan status. Ensure members understand their loan terms and next steps.
    • Problem-Solving & Advocacy: Address member inquiries and concerns with empathy, ensuring each interaction aligns with our core values.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless service and contribute to a positive team environment.
    What We're Looking For

    We're looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and excited to contribute to a community-focused team. Here's what you'll need:

    • Experience: 1-2 years of customer service experience (financial services experience is a plus).
    • Sales Skills: Ability to recommend products and services based on member needs.
    • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to explain financial products in a clear, accessible way.
    • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with basic office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online tools. Experience with banking software is a plus.
    • Organizational Skills: Ability to balance multiple tasks and stay detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team-Oriented: Collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to a positive, member-focused team.
