    Job Description

    Overview

    Responsibilities
    1. Exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making while conducting all aspects of physician support to achieve organizational objectives.

    2. Recommends, develops, implements improvements for the practice.

    3. Performance should be measured based on improvements and expectations set forth inside each practice; financial, clinical, RCM, Patient Care/Outcomes, and Communication.

    4. Informs executive leadership about current trends, problems, and medical activities to facilitate policy making.

    5. Establish and secure approval and provide oversight for clinic operating policies and procedures.

    6. Participates in and coordinates physician, provider, and team member recruitment.

    7. Develop and participate in performance evaluation of team members.

    8. Oversees business and financial affairs of the practice.

    9. Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with teammates to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere.

    10. Responsible for oversight of practice passive income

    11. Review quarterly call schedules prior to publishing.

    12. Development and oversight of ancillary services

    13. Provide support to clinic managers for oversite for recall process and utilization of vascular lab technicians.

    14. Responsible for all applicable licenses specific to provider and location

    15. Research new technology for process improvement.

    16. Submit monthly reports for all practice programs and service lines.

    17. Provide support to clinic team and managers for patient related issues/complaints.

    18. Provide support to Director of Revenue Cycle for workflow changes related to billing and collections by clinic team.

    19. Communication with GPO representative for savings opportunities

    20. Responsible for all incident reports within the practice; to appropriate agencies

    21. Maintain information in a confidential manner.

    22. Identifies and reports compliance issues or concerns to Compliance Officer for resolution.

    23. Maintain knowledge and confirm completion training for annual requirements relating to compliance, safety and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

    24. Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Education

    Bachelor’s Degree

    and/or

    minimum of five years serving as a practice manager required
