  • Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Front Desk Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role primarily operates within the healthcare industry, focusing on tasks such as handling patient checkouts, scheduling return appointments, and assisting with billing-related inquiries. The workplace is a fast-paced environment where the selected candidate will utilize their skills to ensure smooth operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist patients with checkout, ensuring a seamless process.

    • Schedule return appointments, ensuring optimal patient care continuity.

    • Handle billing-related questions, providing clear and accurate information.

    • Prepare co-pay sheets, ensuring accurate patient billing.

    • Verify insurance benefits, ensuring correct coverage and payment.

    • Use software systems like Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM efficiently.

    • Ensure accurate customer records are maintained through diligent documentation.

    • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

    • Answer inbound calls, providing excellent customer service.

    • Perform other clinical trial operations as needed. Requirements - Proficient in using Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, and EHR SYSTEM.

    • Proven ability to answer and manage inbound calls effectively.

    • Experience in handling billing functions for a medical facility.

    • Strong capability to interpret and create Charts and Graphs.

    • Prior experience in Clinical Trial Operations is beneficial.

    • Excellent communication skills to provide clear and concise information to patients and other healthcare professionals.

    • Must demonstrate a professional and respectful demeanor towards patients, coworkers, and supervisors.

    • Strong multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

    • Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems as required.

    • Must have a strong commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

    • Ability to handle stressful situations and high-pressure environments with professionalism.

    • Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work shifts including weekends and evenings if necessary.
