Medical Front Desk Specialist

Description

We are offering an opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in Flossmor, Illinois. This role focuses on being the first point of contact for patients in a dental office, managing scheduling and appointments, and ensuring accurate and efficient billing and insurance verification. The role is ideally suited for someone skilled in scheduling, and customer service, who is comfortable using Dentrix Dental Software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment

• Answer inbound calls in a professional and efficient manner

• Schedule and manage patient appointments

• Confirm appointments and communicate any changes or updates to patients

• Post checks, manage invoices, and perform reconciliations as needed

• Verify patient insurance details and handle insurance verifications

• Resolve any queries or issues related to billing functions and insurance

• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations

• Utilize Dentrix Dental Software for various administrative tasks.

Working hours/Days:

Monday/Wednesday 8:30am-6pm

Tuesday/Thursday 7:30am-4pm

Work every other Saturday 5:30am-1:30pm

Off on Friday's

Requirements - Proficiency in handling billing functions within a medical setting

• Familiarity with various insurance processes and procedures

• Experience in answering inbound calls in a professional manner

• Proven ability in scheduling appointments and managing calendars efficiently

• Skilled in performing insurance verifications and medical insurance verifications

• Capability to confirm appointments effectively

• Experience in using Dentrix Dental Software for various administrative tasks
