Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Area Manager
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures achievement of A/R objectives are met for the area
Ensures Area Manager checklist is implemented at each location on an annual basis
Ensures project deadlines and performance standards are met
Ensures that all facets of the area are adhering to policies and procedures
Ensures that area complies with operational procedures, regulatory compliance, and JCAHO regulations
Evaluates Location Managers (LCM) for accountability, performance, and productivity
Executes budgets within the Area and locations
Hires subordinate staff and ensures they are completed all set objectives
Monitors staffing levels, expenses, equipment utilization, and inventory to ensure maximum performance
Provides a safe working environment for all employees in compliance with all federal, state and local laws including: DOT, FDA, EEOC, OSHA and other agencies
Responsible for the supervision of the Locations Managers within the Area
Understands and implements medical regulations and guidelines for reimbursement
Works closely with Regional Manager and Division Vice President to implement protocols, programs, and tools to increase performance
Performs other duties as assigned
Travel
Travel up to 70% of the time
Must reside within 75 miles of one of the locations supported and maintain an office within the Area as agreed upon with Division level management for non-travel days
QUALIFICATIONS:
Employment is contingent on
Background investigation (company-wide)
Required Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
Education or experience equivalent to a 4-year college degree
Three years related experience, required
Previous supervisory experience, required
Preferred Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree, preferred

Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written
Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual)
Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
Multi-task along with attention to detail
