  • Description

    Room patients to exam rooms and perform initial assessment of patient's vital signs. Update the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) with relevant information. Assist provider with patient exams and other in-office procedures. Updates and maintains providers' daily office schedule Respond to patient telephone calls and document conversations in patient's chart/phone triage. Schedule patient surgeries. Facilitate patient care by assuring clinician's orders are entered and follow-up occurs. Maintains a clean working environment. Other duties as assigned.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    2+ year of medical assisting experience OBGYN and/or women's health experience highly preferred National MA cert (NCCT, AAMA, RMA, etc.) Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program required CPR Certification EMR/EHR experience Excellent customer service/patient care Proven reliability and good attendance Ability to float between NW Portland & SW Portland clinic locations
