    The Media Buying Coordinator is an entry-level position designed for individuals with 0-6 months of experience in media buying or a related field. This role involves supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of media buying activities across various channels. The Media Buying Coordinator will work closely with media buyers, planners, and clients to ensure effective media strategies and successful ad placements.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Media Planning and Strategy Support:

    • Assist in developing media plans that align with client goals and budgets.

    • Collaborate with media planners to identify appropriate media channels and formats.

    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative media strategies.

    • Media Buying and Negotiation:

    • Support media buyers in negotiating rates and contracts with media vendors.

    • Help maintain relationships with media vendors to secure optimal ad placements.

    • Ensure that media buys are executed accurately and within budget.

    • Campaign Management:

    • Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of ad materials to media vendors.

    • Monitor live campaigns to ensure they run smoothly and meet performance expectations.

    • Assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise during campaign execution.

    • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct basic research to identify target audiences and market trends.

    • Assist in analyzing competitor media activities and performance.

    • Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.

    • Performance Tracking and Reporting:

    • Track and report on the performance of media campaigns using relevant metrics.

    • Assist in the preparation of post-campaign analysis reports.

    • Provide regular updates to clients and internal teams on campaign progress.

    • Budget Management:

    • Assist in managing media budgets and ensuring accurate financial tracking.

    • Reconcile invoices and ensure timely payment to media vendors.

    • Support the preparation of budget reports and forecasts.

    • Administrative Support:

    • Maintain organized records of all media plans, contracts, and communications.

    • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for client meetings.

    • Provide general administrative support to the media buying team as needed.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.

    • Up to 6 months of experience in media buying, planning, or a related role (internships and academic projects are considered).

    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Familiarity with media buying tools and platforms is a plus.

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
