    Union position starting rate $25.94 per hour

    Shift differential for shifts starting after 2pm

    Position Summary:

    Works at the direction of the Assisted Living charge nurse and Assisted Living Manager according to scheduled duties. Provides direct resident assistance with medication self-administration and activities of personal care as needed. Maintains medication and treatment areas. Assists with medication set up and medication pass, orders medications, and tracks medications as necessary. Makes necessary calls to physician, pharmacy, or family as part of follow-up, documents medication received, released, and destroyed, verifies physician’s orders, and other related duties.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED required
    • Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required or a combination of education and experience
    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Completion of an approved RCFE Medication Assistance Training program with a passing grade
    • Must be knowledgeable of pertinent regulations with monitoring and licensing of the facility
    • Knowledgeable of medical terminology
    • Must have current First Aid and CPR certification or be eligible

    Physical Requirements

    • Daily duties include lifting, squatting, bending, reaching, prolonged standing, walking
    • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds
    • Ability to stand and/or walk up to 90% of the time
