About the Role

Trojan Technologies is looking for an intermediate-level Mechanical Prototyping Specialist who performs a variety of complex technical tasks, focused on performance verification and validation of UVC Emitters under the general supervision of a senior engineer.

This role is a part of the Innovation and Technology department and will be onsite in London, ON with a Hybrid structure.

The essential responsibilities of the job include:

• Design, prototype, and validate test setups for UVC emitter technologies, including recommending and implementing upgrades to improve test/laboratory fixture efficiency, accuracy and throughput.

• Conduct comprehensive testing of UVC emitters against established standards and specifications, including troubleshoot technical issues encountered during testing.

• Develop and write test specifications, standard operating procedures, and test reports.

• Analyze test data and share conclusions and recommendations with the relevant stakeholders

• Support senior engineers with research, design, experiment setup, and product development.

Are you qualified?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering

• 3 years relevant work experience

• Experience designing, building, and testing prototypes

• SolidWorks or similar experience

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
