    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing all aspects of project financials, administration, implementation, management, and ensuring customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. The ideal candidate will lead the project team through all facets of the project and serve as the established point of contact for stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates.

    • Lead all aspects of project administration including knowledge of and adherence to contract penalty clauses and/or liquidated damages, analyzing reports to identify project deficiencies, providing guidance on corrective actions, managing projects to business compliance, project documentation, safety guidelines, and navigating through governing agencies requirements at state, city, county, federal, and local levels.

    • Financially manage all aspects of projects including cash flow, monthly forecasted cost/revenue, forecasted cost at completion, monitoring expenses, collections support, applied cost, and oversee preparation and communications for monthly backlog review with leaders.

    • Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings, establishing customer expectations, and identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.

    • Utilize properly qualified subcontractors, oversee subcontractor RFQ process, award subcontracts, manage subcontractor execution, and collaborate with subcontractors to establish communication guidelines for project progress, project meetings, billing expectations, and project safety.

    • Create and maintain project schedules utilizing tasks, dependencies, and milestones.

    Essential Skills

    • Minimum of 5 years commercial project management experience

    • Experience with MS Project for project tracking and scheduling

    • High School diploma

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)

    • Proficiency with MS Office Suite - Intermediate level, including Outlook

    • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management

    • OSHA 30 certification - a strong asset (Trane will facilitate if required)

    • HVAC Knowledge

    Work Environment

    This position offers a hybrid work environment with 2 days on site. The role involves managing a portfolio of projects, including commercial retrofit air conditioning systems and HVAC for schools, commercial buildings, and government buildings. Projects range from $600k to $8000k, and the candidate will often be on site, similar to a superintendent. There is a significant backlog of work going into 2025.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $42.31 - $42.31
