    KBR's office in Newark, DE holds a leading role in our Integrated Solutions business, providing engineering and project deliverables to our clients. Services include front-end and detailed engineering, procurement, construction services, and program management primarily in the hydrocarbons and energy transition industries.

    Mechanical Engineering New Grad Hire

    We are looking for Mechanical Engineering new graduates interested in a full time career as a technical professional in Mechanical Engineering.

    Under direct supervision, you will perform assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic electrical engineering principles. You will use judgment in making selections and adaptation of engineering alternatives and perform specific and well-defined assignments.

    The key duties and responsibilities for this role include

    • Perform mechanical engineering, including, but not limited to:

    • design, specification, selection and services relating to mechanical equipment such as rotating machinery, pressure vessels, atmospheric storage tanks, fired and unfired heat transfer equipment, utility equipment, packaged units, material handling and solids processing systems

    • May also include design, specification, selection and services of mechanical systems for buildings such as gases, fluids, and heating, ventilating, air conditioning and vertical transportation

    Job Requirements

    • Recently graduated from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering

    • Strong communication skills are required along with the ability to work in a team environment

    • Experience and skill with SolidWorks and/or Pro-E and FMEA is preferred
