    Job Purpose Summary

    • We are seeking a Materials Supervisor with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team. You will provide the product line(s) with a monthly production plan consistent with the capacity and sales forecast. Working in conjunction with Operations Management, the Materials Supervisor will determine the desired inventory levels including safety stock levels. The sales forecasts, new business opportunities, customer expectations, and internal supply constraints will be used to develop production plans. You will partner closely and collaborate with the Operations, Purchasing, and Management to support business goals.

    What you will do

    • Perform various manufacturing duties as required to ensure the team meets all goals and objectives. Types of work include:

    • Keep the data integrity and functions that support the planning models and tools.

    • Run Daily Plans and other standardized tools to assist the value stream leadership.

    • Work with Value stream leadership and review at appropriate frequencies; raw material Purchase Orders (POs) and sub-component POs.

    • Monitor aged WIP, Open balances on POs and Receive/Inspect inventories.

    • Ensure the data integrity of all planning models.

    • Work with Value stream to plan production resources, OT levels, Resource Level Loading, and WIP Inventories.

    • Issue job orders to the floor, archive routers, cycle counts on WHs, and Raw material storage/Lot control.

    What you will need

    • 3+ years' experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment with KanBan experience.

    • Experience working in a GMP environment, preferably in the Medical Device industry.

    • Demonstrated ability in materials management.

    • Demonstrated ability to present key metrics to the team.

    • Demonstrated ability to understand workflow within manufacturing processes.

    • Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work in a team-based environment that emphasizes quality, performance, cross-training, customer service, and accountability.

    • Demonstrated ability to quickly address issues via countermeasures/troubleshooting with a focus on root cause continuous improvement planning.

    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work with limited supervision or direction.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Email).

    • Ability to work hours in excess of assigned shift (overtime on weeknights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays) when required by the business and to meet team goals.

    Work Environment and Physical Requirements

    • Must be able to ascend and descend, stairs and work in a manufacturing machining environment.

    • Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 25 pounds occasionally.

    • Working around moving machinery/heavy equipment.

    Education, Credentials, or Training

    • H.S Diploma/GED required.

    • Prefer an Associate's Degree or demonstration that degree is currently being pursued.
