As a Material Associate Technician (N-Ray), you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of energetic and inert materials for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). Your expertise will be crucial in setting up, packing, and transporting these materials with precision and care. You will provide oversight to the N-Ray logistics team and all N-Ray logistics operations.

What You Will Do
Oversee setup of various explosive parts for N-Ray in accordance with applicable requirements and specifications while applying a high level of organization, time management, and attention to detail
Work closely with Hazmat drivers, N-Ray setup personnel, and Shipping personnel to coordinate shipments and maximize scheduling efficiency to supplier facilities.
Coordinate with operations leadership and program management to prioritize orders and meet production deadlines.
Manage inventory of packaging materials and other essential supplies.
Submit purchase requests to procurement teams and assist with resolving invoice discrepancies.
Manage N-Ray work-in-progress logs and forecasts.
Monitor key performance indicators and develop corrective actions as needed.
Communicate with N-Ray suppliers to resolve issues and identify improvement opportunities.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety by adhering to all site safety regulations and championing safety improvements.
Ensure compliance with all DOT 49 CFR regulations for hazardous shipments.
Coordinate and lead daily team activities, stand up meetings and visual boards to maximize productivity.
Assist with employee training and performance assessment as needed.
May be required to handle tasks involving the lifting or movement of heavy parts or equipment weighing up to 35 pounds, with the assurance that reasonable accommodation will be provided.
Able to work overtime as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) access.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Qualifications We Prefer
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) experience required.
Prior SAP experience preferred.
Lean Six Sigma program experience preferred.
Proven track record of successful team leadership and management.

The salary range for this role is $19.21 to $25.99. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
