Completes accurate tally of goods and services received which includes: weight, destination, and
charges from bills of lading and shipper's declaration
Receives incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to
verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers
Traces lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments; initiates retrieval of proof of
delivery documents
Partner with inside sales to review and correct customer order discrepancies
Communicates with transport companies and suppliers in order to expedite, trace or return
merchandise that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders
Resolves discrepancies on Metalware system or on manifest
Keeps records of materials received and upload to Imaging system for team to access
Extra Credit: Forklift; Side Loader; Deburr; Packing; Export; Receiving; Shipping; PVC M/C; Chop Saw; Band Saw; Plate Saw; Shear M/C; Waterjet; Laser M/C
Position requires standing, sitting, stooping, and kneeling
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, with assistance
Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception with or without corrected vision
