SUMMARY: Responsible for Marketing Communication activities—Website Management, Technical Documentation, Trade Shows and Advertising.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Marketing Communications
- Identify and monitor market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales
- Oversee marketing communications including advertising, white papers, trade shows, and seminars and events
- Marketing Operations
- Conduct product marketing initiatives including:
- Sales support i.e. product launch, sales training, sales tools, competitive analysis
- Direct marketing campaigns i.e. lead & prospect generation and qualification
- Drive standardization of marketing templates and resource materials
- Provide direct support to sales team and regional representatives
- Manage marketing and activities
- Develop and manage the marketing budget
- Internet Marketing
- Oversee website design and content
- Lead social media strategy to drive interested customers to our website and to convert them into leads
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position supervises one employee.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Marketing or Business preferred. 3-5 years’ experience in technical sales and familiarity with diverse sales channels (i.e.: distributors, representatives, value added remarketers and internet sales) preferred. Technical background within the test and measurement or connector industry a plus.
- Highly computer literate, including knowledge of word processing programs, spreadsheets, internet, e-mail, and customer/sales database tracking programs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with executive level customers and partners. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment. Ability to develop and execute tactical marketing plans.
