    Full-time position with hours Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 pm

    We are seeking a highly skilled, organized, and motivated Marketing Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with marketing expertise to effectively communicate our product’s value to both technical and non-technical audiences. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, marketing knowledge, technical writing, and hands-on execution to drive our marketing initiatives as we prepare for significant growth due to new regulations driving the drinking water treatment industry

    The Marketing Manager

    Drinking Water Solutions is responsible for supporting the Drinking Water Solutions business line through market research and data analysis, including market share, competitive analysis, and market research into new potential markets or product offerings. Additionally, the Marketing Manager is responsible for adjusting, updating, and tracking KPIs for marketing plans and advertising strategy. The Marketing Manager also develops marketing materials to support the Business Line, including managing the on-line hosting and distribution of such materials, refreshing existing content, and creating (including writing) new and different collateral to bolster how we promote and highlight our products and services for both technical and non-technical audiences. The Manager spearheads and manages marketing projects as assigned by the Business Line managerial team. The Marketing Manager also coordinates and develops various marketing activities and materials, such as lead generation and distribution, conference/show participation throughout the year, advertising campaigns and strategy, etc. The Marketing Manager is a key contributor to the marketing budget, including creation and management of said budget, as well as finding, vetting, managing, and utilizing third party vendors as needed for support with collateral production, creative content, publications, conferences support (e.g., booths, giveaways, printed materials), etc.

    Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, engineering, R&D, field services and other groups to understand products, services, data and translate them into compelling marketing messages and sales tools such as presentations, data sheets, FAQs, market brochures, advertisements, etc. that support and elevate the customer journey

    • Create, edit, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for marketing and promotion purposes, including white papers, case studies, etc. that clearly align with our marketing messaging and articulate the technical aspects and benefits of our products to best position ourselves in the market

    • Managing outside vendors for support with marketing collateral creation and other marketing support functions

    • Coordinate, create and oversee various marketing activities to engage with customers, including webinars, conferences, social media posts, email blasts, videos (demonstration, training, promotional), etc.

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs and competitive landscape. Conduct in-depth competitive analysis

    • Track and communicate relevant regulatory updates

    • Plan, execute (including generation, qualification, and distribution), track, and analyze marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, core messaging, market positioning and lead generation (and capturing via specific customer lists, direct marketing, and education) for the Drinking Water Solutions business line

    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, using data to track and to optimize future campaigns

    • Prepare internal reports to effectively communicate projects and results. Internally communicate updates on market information and strategy


    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university is required (Marketing or Business Management or relevant technical degree)

    • 3-5 years

      of marketing

      (e.g., Marketing Strategy, Marketing Collateral and Content)

      , communications, or technical sales experience

      with a chemical/environmental B2B company

      is required

    • Marketing or communications experience in the water treatment industry is preferred

    • Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing trends is preferred

    • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is preferred

    • Familiarity with commonly used software for marketing and overall purposes: MS Office (including Excel, Word, Office, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.), Constant Contact, SalesForce/CRM, On24, Asana, etc. is preferred
