    We are seeking a versatile and proactive Marketing Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a variety of marketing and administrative tasks. The Marketing Generalist will be responsible for executing and supporting a wide range of marketing activities, including website updates, social media management, paid advertising, brand recognition initiatives, and event planning.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform routine updates, improvements, and optimizations to ensure the website reflects current campaigns and brand standards.

    • Manage social media accounts, create and schedule posts, engage with followers, and track performance metrics.

    • Assist in the creation, execution, and monitoring of paid ad campaigns across platforms (e.g., Google Ads, social media).

    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance brand visibility and awareness.

    • Create and share content to drive engagement and generate organic traffic across digital platforms.

    • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, partners, and influencers.

    • Coordinate and execute logistics for industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

    • Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining marketing documentation.

    Essential Skills

    • 2-3 years of marketing experience.

    • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, advertising tools, and website management (e.g., CMS systems).

    • Ability to work within software such as Adobe, Canva, etc.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

    • Creative thinker with a passion for marketing trends and innovation.

    • Google Analytics experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

    This position offers the opportunity to join a startup with significant room for growth and leadership roles. The role is 100% remote, providing a lot of flexibility to manage your own schedule and autonomy. Candidates should have a quiet office space set up at home. Preference for candidates based in Edmonton or Toronto. The company has 15 employees and offers flexible hours, generally from 8am to 5pm.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.86
