Marketing Assistant

Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team located in Arden, North Carolina, as a Marketing Assistant in the non-profit sector. This role is part of a contract to hire employment opportunity, where you will be assisting in the organization and booking of events, acting as a liaison with coordinators and collaborating with the marketing team to create promotional materials. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, as the role may require shift work and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the organization and booking of events

• Act as a liaison with event coordinators

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials

• Manage email marketing campaigns

• Handle direct marketing campaigns

• Maintain accounts and perform account management duties

• Manage key accounts and perform maintenance tasks

• Schedule events and manage event coordination

• Handle event-related tasks efficiently and effectively. Requirements - Demonstrated proficiency in Email Marketing

• Experience with Direct Marketing Campaigns

• Proven track record in Account Management

• Familiarity with Account Maintenance tasks

• Expertise in Key Account Management

• Proficiency in Scheduling tasks

• Experience in Coordinating Events

• Skills in Event Coordination

• Ability to handle Event Management effectively

• Understanding of Non-Profit industry trends and best practices

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic environment

• Proficiency in using marketing software and tools

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role in the non-profit sector is a plus

• A strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
