    Job Title: Manufacturing Equipment Technician

    Location: Portland, OR

    Position Type: Full-Time

    Pay Rate: $21.50- $22.00/hr.

    Shifts: 12-hour shifts days/nights (various shifts available)

    Job Description:

    We are seeking motivated Manufacturing Equipment Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, and repair manuals. Your work will involve setting up, calibrating, and performing preventative maintenance on production equipment. While assignments are semi-routine, you will need to use judgment to resolve non-standard problems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot specialized processing equipment in a clean room environment.

    • Collect data and communicate results to engineering teams to optimize equipment and processes.

    • Perform complex tasks such as equipment installation, qualification, and troubleshooting.

    • Solve problems that impact factory performance and efficiency.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Regularly lift loads up to 25 lbs.

    • Walk 3-5 miles and stand or sit for up to 9 hours within a shift.

    • Spend over 90% of work time in an environment, wearing appropriate safety gear.

    • Work on a compressed work week schedule with 12-hour shifts alternating between three and four days per week.

    Qualifications:

    • A self-starter with excellent multitasking abilities, demonstrate technical root causes analysis skills

    • High school diploma (to be completed by employment start date).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in maintenance, repair, or troubleshooting equipment, including inspection tasks.

    • Proficiency with computers and general software programs.

    • Ability to work within a team build shift priorities and deal with ambiguity.

    • Demonstrate technical written and verbal communication skills.

    • Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC)

    • Critical thinking/Problem solving

    • Mechanical or Technical certifications in a Fab environment

    Additional Information:

    • This position is entry-level, with compensation adjusted accordingly.
