Summary

This position is intended to be a jointly beneficial learning opportunity. Significant interaction with an Engineering Mentor and the Engineering Manager are expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Document designs using 3D solid (SolidWorks and/or OnShape) and 2D drafting software (AutoCAD).

• Evaluate weight and balance issues for road worthiness and crane stability.

• Assist Manufacturing Engineering with development of work orders.

• Maintain revision control on drawings and other controlled documents.

• Generate manuals for designed equipment as required.

• Data entry for Product Data Management system.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in engineering discipline

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, OnShape, Inventor, AutoCAD, Draftsight, etc

• Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel and Word

Working Conditions

• This job will be performed in an office setting.

• Operation and review of construction equipment may be occasionally required. Proper training will be provided prior to operation if necessary.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit in office setting and perform computer work

• Ability to walk shop floor with workers and see issues first hand
