    A Brief Overview

    Provides strategic leadership and oversight for financial planning and analysis functions by managing a team of financial analysts, coordinating budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing guidance on financial strategy, approving and reviewing journal entries, completing variance analysis and collaborating with stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives. Ensures accurate financial reporting, drives process improvements, and contributes to strategic planning and risk assessment.

    What you will do

    Directs operations for the financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.

    Conducts in-depth financial variance analysis to evaluate the financial performance of business units or initiatives, analyzing cost drivers.

    Assists with the development of the company's strategic plans by providing financial analysis and insights, assessing financial feasibility and impact of proposed strategic initiatives and investments.

    Prepares financial models and sensitivity analysis to support decision-making.

    Contributes to monthly and quarterly reporting packages and formal business reviews, and participates in leadership presentations.

    Ensures quality financial summaries and presents complex dashboard information to management.

    Collaborates with business leaders to identify areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth strategies.

    Allocates resources to improve financial planning and analysis inefficiencies, implement automation or standardization initiatives, and enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

    Manages and mentors a team of financial analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team professional development and the achievement of work area goals.

    Reviews and approves entries to the general and subsidiary ledgers to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with the company's accounting principles.

    For this role you will need Minimum Requirements

    5-7 years work experience in Finance and/or Accounting

    Preferred Qualifications

    Profound knowledge of U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other financial systems (SAP/Oracle) is advantageous.

    Certified Corporate FP&A Professional (FPAC) preferred.

    Education

    Bachelors Degree in Finance and/or Accounting or related experience (4 years)

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is

    $63,300.00 - $139,200.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
