    As a Retail Store Manager, you will lead and oversee the daily operations of retail stores, ensuring the seamless execution of our strategic goals. Your role will involve directing and optimizing store performance, fostering a dynamic team environment, and managing special projects in alignment with the overarching objectives of the theme park and City Walk.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement and drive strategic plans to maximize store profitability while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest service.

    • Continuously seek and apply process improvements to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.

    • Build and maintain a cohesive team by demonstrating strong organizational, planning, delegation, and coaching abilities.

    • Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to ensure ongoing training and development opportunities for all retail team members.

    • Administer performance evaluations, address disciplinary issues, resolve employee relations concerns, and lead individual and team meetings.

    • Focus on staff development through effective training, mentoring, and coaching.

    • Maximize daily sales while managing costs, labor, inventory, and cash control. Strive to exceed annual EBITDA targets by monitoring financial performance and implementing necessary adjustments.

    • Actively participate in recruiting and retaining talented staff members, ensuring alignment with the company's needs and goals.

    • Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations concerning food quality, safety, labor, and employment.

    • Maintain compliance with Union guidelines and Company policies and procedures.

    • Develop and manage weekly schedules to meet budgetary requirements and guest service objectives.

    • Monitor and exceed weekly budgeted operational metrics, including shrinkage, labor costs, safety standards, guest service, cleanliness, and merchandising presentation.

    • Regularly review and analyze store performance data, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with the management team to resolve issues and capitalize on opportunities.

    • Maintain regular communication with the Area Manager regarding store performance and challenges. Provide actionable recommendations for improvement as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-volume retail store management, demonstrating a proven track record of achieving sales goals and managing operations efficiently.

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience will be considered.

    • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and POS systems. Experience with JDA or similar retail management software is a plus.

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external partners.

    Desired Characteristics

    • Prior experience in retail management within the theme park or entertainment industry is highly desirable.

    • A strong passion for delivering exceptional guest service and enhancing the overall guest experience.

    • Proven ability to achieve results through strategic execution and operational excellence.

    • Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including holidays, weekends, and nights, as required.

    • Effective communicator with the ability to liaise with vendors, employees, and management at all levels.

    • Demonstrated skills in organization, planning, delegation, mentoring, and coaching, with a focus on team development and performance enhancement.

    Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

    Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 (bonus eligible)
