  • Summary:

    This is a full-time position that is responsible for providing and preparing complex financial, economic, and strategic analysis in support of strategic objectives, long-term planning, business development efforts, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis. T

    Responsibilities:

    • Compile and consolidate data from various sources for monthly, quarterly, yearly, and long-term budgets/forecasts for multiple operational/business lines: M2M monthly reporting, income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and pro-forma financial metrics.

    • Analyze and report monthly and quarterly operational and financial results.

    • Identify key business drivers and provide guidance/recommendations to company leadership.

    • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI metrics) with reporting dashboards to provide necessary financial and management reporting information to communicate results, identify key issues, and drive consistency.

    • Prepare monthly budget to actual reports (variance analysis).

    • Support strategic planning efforts and subsequent tracking and analysis tools.

    • Prepare cash flow forecasting and variance analysis.

    • Provide analytical support to various business initiatives & strategic decisions, including business development & other M&A opportunities.

    • Lead special projects related to area of expertise, which includes facilitating budget process, process/systems improvements, and other recurring or ad-hoc initiatives.

    • Develop and maintain data visualizations, presentations, and other graphical tools.

    • Recognize and recommend implementation of internal controls and development of efficient processes.

    • Work with other company personnel to develop effective and robust analytical tools.

    Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

    • 5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.

    • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting concepts and principles.

    • Ability to perform moderately complex financial modeling and analysis.

    • English language fluency, verbal and written.

    • Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
