    PeaceHealth Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute (OHVI) at Sacred Heart RiverBend Medical Center in Springfield, Oregon is seeking a Manager OHVI Diagnostics - Cardiovascular Administration for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $58.88 - $88.32. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

    About the position:

    • Manages the coordination of the activities for OHVI Diagnostic Services, including costs, methods, and the development, implementation, maintenance and compliance with departmental programs, policies, procedures and protocols. Responsible for the operational performance of the department including quality and service environment and regulatory compliance. Delivers financial results for areas of accountability. Is responsible for the oversight of caregivers including staffing, performance evaluations, and corrective actions. Receives assignment in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.

    • Fosters and promotes a cohesive and collaborative work environment among caregivers, clinical departments and affiliated services. Evaluates caregivers, initiates corrective action, provides coaching, monitors performance, directs orientation, and constructively influences caregiver morale. Responsible for ensuring the orientation, competency, evaluation and performance management of caregivers in the department.

    • Responsible for addressing and resolving complaints related to services, care, operations and/or staffing issues.

    • Creates and monitors infrastructures, systems, processes and standards to achieve outcomes. Maintains a positive work environment.

    • Implements quality control initiatives and provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.

    • Oversees equipment service and performance and troubleshoots equipment failures. Makes recommendation for equipment purchase and replacement. Manages supply and inventory control.

    • Partners to assure that units are in compliance with hospital, local, regulatory agency, state and federal standards. Identifies variances or inabilities to meet established targets and implement corrective actions. Enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care, infection control and radiation safety standards.

    • Establishes budget, ensures targets are met, explains variances and makes staffing recommendations for department.

    • Develop, interpret, disseminate and enforce departmental programs, policies, procedures and protocols. Implements new procedures process, and workflows.

    • Performs other staff level patient care activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned and consistent with caregiver's scope of practice, training experience and license/registration/certification.

    What you bring:

    • Accredited Imaging program required, OR Bachelor's Degree required OR a combination of education and professional experience that provides the incumbent with the requisite, knowledge, skills and ability to successfully perform the job. Master's Degree Preferred.

    • Minimum of 5 years related experience required.

    • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience required.

    • Previous experience with Quality Control/Process Improvement and equipment management required.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs required.

    • PACS/RIS knowledge required.

    • Knowledge of multiple modalities in imaging including specialty procedures required.

    One of the following is required upon hire:

    • Radiology Technologist - Oregon

    • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

    • Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification

    • Current licensure/certification/registration to practice in trained modality as required by state.

    Required Upon Hire:

    • Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support.

    Preferred:

    • Certification in multiple modalities preferred.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and display flexibility in a fast paced and changing work environment

    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

    • Ability to utilize general office equipment such as telephone, facsimile, photocopier, etc.
