    What you'll do

    • Translate business requirements into technical solutions

    • Analyze current business practices and identify future opportunities

    • Support data design services and perform needs assessments

    • Deliver architectures for data transformations and modernizations

    • Design and build data pipelines, streams, and service APIs

    • Develop and maintain data warehouse schematics and databases

    • Implement effective metrics and monitoring processes

    Skills and experiences

    • Confident communicator who is able to explain technical terms to non-technical audiences and mentor junior colleagues

    • Demonstratable end-to-end experience in Data Engineering, including large-scale projects

    • Experience turning business use cases into technical solutions and experience in business process mapping for data and analytics solutions

    • Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping

    • Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DW, and Azure SQ, experience with Git/TFS/VSTS and mastery of .NET C# and T-SQL; familiarity with U-SQL

    • Demonstrable end-to-end experience in Data Engineering, strong team collaboration skills, experience working with remote teams and experience leading large development teams and large-scale projects

    • Have a minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience across the advanced analytics space

    • Are excited to become a leader within a dynamic, innovative data practice and you are emotionally mature and humble in your leadership, recognizing the unique skillset of each team member

    • Have proven experience running multi-million-dollar projects and you enjoy interacting with clients and building strong relationships

    • Are as a steadfast mediator between the business and the team and you possess masterful negotiation and relationship-building skills and can communicate priorities and expectations clearly and concisely, remaining open to team opinions, while also being confident in making decisions
