DESCRIPTION
The Junior Account Manager provides support to the team to sustain and grow the retail program of one of our largest consumer electronics clients. This position will allow you the opportunity to shadow and learn retail sales and marketing from the ground up. The ideal candidate is hungry to learn, eager to jump in, has a passion for marketing (bonus if it's a passion in the tech space), is organized, detail oriented, and ready to dive right into agency life.
As a Junior Account Manager, you will be responsible for helping bring all of our projects to life by being a taskmaster and working closely with our internal cross functional teams and account management counterparts to ensure all aspects of deliverables can be achieved for our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
Work closely with all internal departments and key client contacts on a day-to-day basis to help facilitate the planning, execution and monitoring of ongoing and upcoming programs.
Follow outlined processes to ensure all tasks and projects are complete or addressed, and all respective internal stakeholders know the status of the project
Organize and update files to help facilitate internal and external status meetings
Collaborates with internal team members to support existing retailer programs in tracking issues and providing resolutions
Produce meeting agendas, call notes, program trackers, and help maintain program budgets. Help ensure pre-work is done prior to meetings.
Work closely with team to manage key timelines and follow-up as needed on associated items to ensure client deliverables, client management, and communication is at the forefront of our business
Provide thought leadership in ways of improvement - keeping up to date on relevant product knowledge, consumer and industry trends
Be proactive and raise your hand when you have bandwidth. Contribute to the greater good of the project by always communicating when you have questions, comments, concerns, or are ready to take on additional responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills Required:
Strong attention to detail and knowledge of Google Sheets, Slides, & Docs.
Demonstrated analytical skills; ability to interpret and summarize data into insights
Can-do attitude with approachability, patience, and not afraid to tackle new challenges
Strong organization and time management skills. Raise your hand when help is needed
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and can work independently as well
Demonstrates initiative, not afraid to troubleshoot on their own
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal & presentation)
Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, project management experience, and ability to prioritize tasks
Superior interpersonal skills to work closely with other team members and the client as well as independently
Prior telco and/or consumer electronics experience a huge asset
Prior agency / client facing experience preferred
